Meet Dr. Brian Rotenberg, MD MPH FRCSC

Dr. Rotenberg completed his MD degree at the University of Toronto, and received residency certification in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery from Royal College. He is also dual fellowship trained in sinonasal surgery from the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rotenberg joined the faculty of Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2007, and is currently ranked as a Full Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Rotenberg is a founding member of the International Surgical Sleep Society (ISSS) and sits on its Executive Board. He is the former Scientific Chair of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology, and is currently a Fellow of the American Rhinological Society and a member of the Triological Society. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

As an academic, Dr. Rotenberg has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and has received multiple grants to conduct sleep-related and sinonasal research.

Dr. Rotenberg’s expertise in ENT surgery and reputation for excellence in clinical care led him to the position of Medical Director at Advanced Surgical Operatory Ltd.

Dr. Rotenberg is happily married to his wife Beverley and is the proud father of his sons Jacob, Kieran, and Nathan. A dedicated family man, his professional priority is helping his patients and their families enjoy their highest quality of life through better sleep.
